I still had the camera set at ISO 200 from earlier, so I clicked the shutter, held the camera for a few moments, realized the exposure was not ending any time soon, turned on the overhead light and started looking all over for a way to get the camera to stop recording this dumb, useless image so I could hurry up and change the setting and reshoot the shot before the city was gone from view.
I ended up with this – my first light trail photo. Yes, I know it's awful when compared to its intended design, but on its own I think it looks neat. I love the squiggles of light and I like the fact that you can still make out the city grid.
